Tiny Films on the Big Screen
At a cap of just 5 minutes, Tiny Film Fest encourages filmmakers of all stripes - emerging and established - to use this as an opportunity to practice distilling their storytelling. These micro-films serve as their own kind of prelude - whole in and of themselves, but suggesting a world that could keep unfolding.

The precedent for this kind of short filmmaking has a reputation for embodying all range of refinement, from surprisingly elegant to refreshingly scrappy. All manner of work is encouraged for submission.

Harnessing our attention-deficit society, a showcase of these micro-shorts allows us to display work by more filmmakers in a shorter amount of time.

The select films that embody this with originality and heart will be brought to life in front of a live audience on the big screen in the Historic Art Theatre in Long Beach, CA. The festival winners, judged by our Jury of filmmaking and industry professionals, will receive cash prizes in hopes of putting a drop in the bucket of developing their next vision.
Mark your calendars for April 27, 2024 to join us for the Festival on Retro Row in Long Beach, CA.
Ticket sales will open March 2024.

Submissions are now closed for 2024 - but keep an eye out for 2025!
